Location: This position is hybrid, based in Lanham, Maryland. Candidates must be local to Lanham, MD or willing to relocate. Role: Delmock Technologies Inc. is seeking a Configuration Engineer (DevOps) to help transform our federal client’s organization and accelerate mission execution through emerging and disruptive technologies, innovative business models, retooled program operations and industry-driven solutions. Responsibilities: Provides configuration management planning and control. Evaluates, coordinates, approves, or disapproves, and implements changes in software configuration items. Describes provisions for configuration identification, change control, configuration status accounting and configuration audits. Regulates the change process so that only approved and validated changes are incorporated into product documents and related software. Implements the full CICD pipeline from the Git repositories to production deployments on Kubernetes, both on-prem and AWS Cloud. Creates and maintains Git repositories. Configures and maintains test suites to be executed in Jenkins pipeline. Implements processes and guardrails and trains the Federated Deliver Teams to work towards self-sufficient DevOps practices. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. 4+ years of experience serving as a DevOps Engineer of complex technology implementations using agile methodologies, with a focus on establishing and maintaining the integrity of software products throughout the project's life cycle. Familiarity with Agile methodologies. Experience with the following: GitLab and/or GitHub. Kubernetes and Kustomize. Jenkins Pipelines (including groovy pipeline scripting). Agile methodology. Bash Scripting. Maven. Node.js. NPM. SonarQube. Nexus. Babel, Webpack. Preferred: Experience with the following: OpenShift. AWS. ISTIO. GitFlow. Clearance: Active IRS MBI (Minimum Background Investigation) Clearance.
