Akima RQ-4 Technical, Operations & Programmatic Support Professional in Langley Air Force Base, Virginia

Responsibilities

  • Providing support in ISR and RQ-4B sensor use, modernization and development with electro-optical, infrared and synthetics aperture radar technologies and capabilities

  • Assisting in measurement and signatures intelligence data flow in ground station systems for certification and accreditation processes for new ISR systems

  • Providing support in the areas of planning, operations, sensors, budget planning and programming, requirements development and analysis, technical and operational assessments

  • Program reviews in support of operations, research, development and acquisition, and sustainment activities

  • Providing Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS) expertise

  • Providing support to develop and coordinate required JCIDS products through the Air Force and Joint processes

  • Providing PEM support in developing documents, projected budget requirements and supporting documentation for the PEM to submit as part of the Planning, Programming and Budgeting System (PPBS) and Program Objective Memorandum (POM) submission process

  • Supporting preparation of programming inputs as required to include: POM, Budget Estimate Submission, briefs, impact assessments, and review of system acquisition plans

Qualifications

  • Must "be able" to obtain a Top-Secret Clearance

  • Must have either a bachelor’s degree OR an associate degree plus 12 years of experience in operations, staff or working Communications and IT systems

  • 3 years of MAJCOM or higher staff experience is desired

  • 5 years of experience in operations, staff or working RQ-4, AF ISR, Communications and IT systems is desired

  • Knowledgeable of Federal Budget and Resource Allocation process and procedures in support of ACC/A5IH, including RQ-4 is desired

  • Familiar with CAM sustainment funding and processes is desired

  • Familiar w/developing JCIDS and QRC documents and processes is desired
