Job Description

HII Mission Technologies is looking for a Threat Intelligence Analyst to join the Advanced Battle Management System (ABMS) Digital Infrastructure (DI) team. The Threat Intelligence Analyst would work with the 700th Air Support Squadron (ASUS) at Langley AFB in the in Command-and-Control Network & Security Operation Center (C2NSOC).

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible to the Crew Commander/Ops Lead for conducting intelligence functions that support cyber threat alert monitoring and reporting, incident prioritization, incident response, threat hunt missions, and dynamic taskings.

  • Analyze Threat Trends in order to recognize and research various threat actor groups, attack patterns, tactics, techniques and procedures (TTPs), indicators of compromise (IOCs) and attack vectors for an end-to-end understanding of threat landscape.

  • Monitor and report changes in threat dispositions, activities, tactics, capabilities, objectives, etc. as related to designated cyber operations warning problem sets.

  • Provide information and assessments to inform leadership and customers; develop and refining objectives; support operation planning and execution; and assess the effects of operations.

  • Assess the effectiveness of collections in satisfying priority information gaps, using available capabilities and methods, and adjust collection strategies and collection requirements accordingly.

  • Create threat models both manually and via the use of industry tools.

  • Develop specific cybersecurity countermeasures and risk mitigation strategies for systems and/or applications.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.

  • Active DoD TS/SCI clearance

  • Security+ certification

Preferred Requirements

  • Previous NOC/SOC experience

  • Cybersecurity certification like GCTI, GCFA, CCTHP.

Physical Requirements

May require working in an office, industrial, shipboard, or laboratory environment. Capable of climbing ladders and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances.
