Summary/Objective :
P roactively manage projects while maintaining overall project profitability and a high level of customer service . U tilize the p roject management p rocess (SPI) while providing departmental support.
Essential Functions
Communicate shipping updates to the customer weekly, at a minimum.
Notify necessary parties of changes, errors, or exceptions.
Review each project with Quotations Specialist to understand scope of work and project requirements .
Communicate directly with customers to review project including details, exceptions, and completion date.
Release orders in JMS detailing any exceptions including freight.
Maintain Purchase Order financial worksheet to ensure proper project closeout and maximize profitability .
Create ship schedule following the p rocess making sure to include all Bills of Material.
Maintain communication with Outside Sales and the customer.
Send customer ship schedule with notes of ‘Hold for Release ’.
Work with operations regarding logistics for managing jobs.
Participate in joint sales calls to understand customer needs.
Market project management capabilities internally and externally.
Manage financials, run invoice register, reconcile, and update customer.
Request Record Drawings from Manufacturer or Rep.
Process O & M per Purchase Order requirements.
Participate in pre-job and project review meetings.
Attend vendor classes and factory visits.
Engage in Lifelong Learning activities and meet yearly requirements.
Performs other duties as obvious or assigned.
