Railroad Con struction Company is seeking a motivated, qualified individual with excellent communication skills to join our Philadelphia Metro Division located in Langhorne, PA as a General Office Administrator. As a member of our team responsible for all Bid & General Office Administration.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
General Office Administration:
Maintain sufficient inventory of office supplies & consumables
Answer incoming phone calls received on the office lines
Prepare items to ship FedEx, UPS, USPS, Certified Mail, etc.
Open, date stamp and appropriately handle incoming mail, packages
Make local pickup and delivery with a Company vehicle, when directed
Process invoices, contracts, insurance certificates, insurance claims, time cards, etc. (training will be provided)
Experience with Viewpoint Vista software is a plus
Bid Administration:
Experience printing drawings, specifications, addendums, etc.
Performed the following tasks: scanning quotes, updating logs, maintenance in vendor databases
Experience with estimating and the bid process
Experience calling subcontractors and vendors
Experience with solicitation software such as SmartBid or iSqft is a plus
Experience with MWDBE and Good Faith Efforts are a plus
Experience with Bluebeam software is a plus
Experience with HCSS, HeavyBid software is a plus
Required skills and Qualifications:organized individual with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
High School Diploma or GED and 5 years related experience providing administrative support in the construction industry
Proficient knowledge & use of Microsoft Computer software
Current Driver’s license
