JOB DESCRIPTION: ? Establishes a winning philosophy promoting winning, positive life skills, sportsmanship; ? Maintains a positive relationship with athletes, parents, and other staff; ? Teaches track and field fundamentals; emphasis on distance events ? Supervises student athletes during travel and home meets; ? Assists in set up/tear down of practices and home meet(s); ? Assists in maintaining equipment inventory; ? Works under the direction of the head coach; ? Models good sportsmanship; and ? Teaches and upholds school and WHSAA rules & regulations. 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: ? PTSB coaching certification as assistant track and field coach or a head coach in any area; ? Track and field/distance running coaching experience; ? Ability to establish a positive relationship with athletes, parents, and other staff; and ? Ability to attend all practices and meets.
