Hello! Our client in the construction industry is adding to their team! They are in need of a project accountant that has a strong skillset in job costing, project invoicing, AIA billings and lien releases, and full cycle accounting.

Location: Lancaster, PA

Description:

The Construction Project Accountant is responsible for supporting the project team regarding contract modifications, purchase order quantities, compliance, payments, reports and other duties related to the project. The role interfaces between the Controller and the Project Managers from project initialization through final invoicing to ensure accuracy in billing, cost accounting and process compliance for assigned projects.

  • Create pivot tables and vlookups in Excel

  • Proficient within a large scale ERP such as SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, Yardi, SAGE, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, or Workday

  • Reconciliations

  • Journal Entries

  • Preparing financial statements

  • Invoicing

  • Create pivot tables and vlookups in Excel

  • Proficient within a large scale ERP such as SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, Yardi, SAGE, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, or Workday

NICE TO HAVES:

  • Constructions industry experience

  • Starbuilder or CMiC ERP experience

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of job costing experience

  • 2+ years of experience processing change orders

  • 2+ years of experience working closely with project managers

  • 2+ years of invoicing/AIA billing for projects

  • Create pivot tables and vlookups in Excel

  • Proficient within a large scale ERP such as SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, Yardi, SAGE, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, or Workday
