Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team on the 2nd shift from 4:00pm-12:00am, Monday through Friday. The candidate should expect a 40-hour work week with rare overtime. The role involves setting up various machines, changing out tooling depending on the type of cord being produced, and ensuring the smooth operation of both older and newer equipment.
Responsibilities
Set up machines accurately and in a timely manner.
Complete daily maintenance checks on machines.
Troubleshoot malfunctioning machinery to determine if major repairs are needed.
Adjust and align machine parts.
Replace defective parts of machinery as needed.
Work with tools such as micrometers, calipers, and hydraulic and air pneumatic equipment.
Understand and apply OSHA Lockout-Tagout requirements.
Essential Skills
Strong mechanical ability.
Industrial electrical knowledge.
Experience with 240V/480V and 3-phase motors.
Attention to detail.
Dexterity.
Troubleshooting and problem-solving ability.
Manual machining.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
PLC troubleshooting experience (preferred, not required).
Forklift experience (nice to have).
Mold machine experience (nice to have).

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
