The License Practical Nurse (LPN) has duties and responsibilities related to administrative responsibilities and patient care in the medical field. This individual displays responsible behaviors, ability to work in a fast paced environment, ability to communicate effectively with others and functions as a member of the healthcare team. The LPN functions under the direct supervision and authority of the provider when performing medical and/or surgical procedures during patient care. The LPN reports to the nurse manager, who is responsible for administrative supervision and orientation of the LPN to the area's policies and procedures. The LPN assists in the organization of efficient patient flow, and organizes the office environment to assure patient safety. Administrative duties as assigned by the nurse manager.

• Must be flexible with days to help cover other staff vacations or absences.
