Position Summary

The Accounts Payable (AP) Supervisor oversees and manages the day-to-day operations of the Accounts Payable function, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial transaction processing. This role is responsible for maintaining effective policies and procedures, reconciling accounts, and ensuring the timely closing of month-end and year-end AP processes. The AP Supervisor works closely with vendors, the Purchasing department, and internal stakeholders to 

resolve payment issues and enhance business processes.

 

In addition to AP oversight, the Accounts Payable Supervisor manages the district's travel program, ensuring compliance with Pierce College policies and state regulations. 

The position reports to the Procure to Pay Manager and requires regular, and consistent attendance.
