Overview Welcome to Masa & Agave, a speakeasy-style cantina located at the historic Westin Cleveland Downtown! This position is focused on overseeing our evening service and operations reporting to our Director of Outlets and Restaurant General Manager. Key to this role is overseeing our evening restaurant operations, beverage leadership and maintaining inventory. We're looking for a leader who works well with a team, can onboard and train teammembers and enjoys caring for our employees so they can best take care of our guests. This is achieved through proper planning, daily team discussions and presence on the restaurant floor. The desired outcome is excellent results in our guest satisfaction, quality of service and compliance with policies and federal and state legal requirements. About Our Restaurant: Worshipped as the aztec gods of fertility and long life, venerated for their powers of sustenance, corn masa and agave have been central to Mexican culture and cuisine since ancient times. Using authentic techniques, we prepare corn masa-based starters and Mexico City-style tacos that are bursting with regional flavors! Responsibilities Direct the day to day operations of the restaurant and room service for primarily lunch and dinner periods. Direct the day to day operations of bar operations. Respond to customer trends, needs, issues, comments and problems to ensure a quality experience and enhance future sales prospects. Manage the Human Resources in the various outlets in order to attract, retain and motivate the associates; interview, hire, schedule, train, develop, empower, coach and counsel, conduct performance and salary reviews, resolve problems, provide open communications and recommend discipline and termination, as appropriate. Implement company programs and manage the operations of the Restaurant, Room Service and any other food and beverage outlet as required to ensure compliance with LSOPs and SOPs, safety regulations and federal, state and local regulations to
