Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing machines in various departments, including injection molding machines and presses (primarily for the 3rd shift) and CNC, manual machines, and EDM (primarily for the 2nd shift). This position operates under the supervision of the Maintenance Manager.
Responsibilities
Disassemble machines and remove parts for replacement or repair using cranes, hoists, chain falls, hand tools, and jacks.
Examine broken machine parts, identify defective parts, and recommend repair requirements to supervisors.
Replace, fix, or realign machine parts and accessories according to production specifications.
Assemble machine parts after maintenance and repair work is completed.
Assist other maintenance team members and serve as a resource to production, engineering, and other plant personnel.
Work independently with minimal supervision.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Demonstrate an outstanding ability to learn and comprehend the fundamentals of machine operations.
Possess a strong understanding of hydraulic systems and exhibit mastery in troubleshooting using deductive reasoning and schematics.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
Strong hydraulic and pneumatic experience (the role is 70% mechanical).
Experience with intricate machines and tight tolerances.
Basic electrical experience (at minimum 120v).
Ability to read blueprints and machine manuals.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with CNC, press, injection molding, and manual machine maintenance.
PLC troubleshooting experience.

Work Environment
This facility is clean, well-lit, temperature-controlled, and quiet. We have openings for the 2nd and 3rd shifts, with flexible start times. The 2nd shift starts around 1:30/2:30 PM and works 8.5 hours, while the 3rd shift starts around 10 PM and works 8.5 hours. Our team is small, consisting of a manager, supervisor, and two technicians. We have a very nice lunch room with fresh vending machines and offer double-time pay on Sundays.
