DESCRIPTION

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  1. Ensure Equipment Reliability : By troubleshooting, assembling, installing, testing, and maintaining mechanical systems, you'll keep equipment available and capable, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.

  2. Promote Safety : Your understanding and adherence to safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment and reporting hazards, will help create a safer work environment for everyone.

  3. Enhance Quality : Applying high standards of workmanship and craftsmanship, you'll support equipment uptime and perform quality inspections, ensuring that all work meets the required specifications and standards.

  4. Support Preventive Maintenance : By providing feedback into the Preventive Maintenance system and performing preventive, emergency, corrective, and predictive maintenance activities, you'll help prevent equipment failures and extend the lifespan of machinery.

  5. Mentor and Coach : Your ability to work independently and instruct or coach others will foster a collaborative and knowledgeable team environment, enhancing overall team performance.

  6. Improve Processes : Participating in continuous improvement activities and solving problems will help identify and reduce manufacturing constraints, leading to more efficient and effective operations.

  7. Maintain Cleanliness and Order : Keeping your work area clean and orderly, including routine housekeeping and machine cleaning tasks, will contribute to a more organized and efficient workplace.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.

Experience:

Prefer significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.

QUALIFICATIONS

Additional Information:

Troubleshoots, assembles, installs, tests and maintains mechanical systems using all necessary tools to keep equipment available and capable. Learns and understands the protocols of working safely with electricity and other energy sources with industrial equipment. May work independently and instruct/coach others.
