DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a talented JEP Communications School To Work (Student) to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Cummins Inc. facility in Jamestown, NY.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Efficient Communication : By answering telephones, screening calls, and taking messages, you’ll ensure that all communications are handled promptly and courteously, enhancing the office’s professionalism.

  • Accurate Documentation : Your skills in transcribing, typing, formatting, and proofreading various materials will ensure that all documents are accurate and professionally presented.

  • Meeting Coordination : By scheduling meetings, making travel arrangements, and ensuring amenities are available, you’ll facilitate smooth and productive meetings.

  • Time Management : Managing the appointments and schedules of staff will help the team stay organized and focused on their priorities.

  • Operational Support : Using office equipment like photocopiers, faxes, and printers efficiently will support the smooth operation of daily tasks.

  • Administrative Efficiency : Performing administrative tasks such as distributing mail, preparing outgoing mail, and maintaining office supplies will ensure that the office runs efficiently and effectively.

  • Attention to Detail : Your attention to detail in following established procedures and guidelines will ensure that all activities are completed accurately and on time.

  • Team Support : By providing timely and effective administrative support, you’ll contribute to the overall success and productivity of the office, business unit, or department.

Education/Experience:

High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.

This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Minimal or no work experience required.

QUALIFICATIONS

Additional Information:

Spend 5 to 10 hours per week working on plant communications and strategies.

Please note that the salary range provided is a good faith estimate on the applicable range. The final salary offer will be determined after considering relevant factors, including a candidate’s qualifications and experience, where appropriate.
