Overnight Manufacturing Laborer

Overnight Manufacturing Laborer Responsibilities:

  • Assists in the production of liquid food products and liquid food concentrates by following FDA guidelines, standard operating procedures (SOP's) and good manufacturing procedures (GMP's).

  • Blends liquid products together to make bulk batches. Lifts materials weighing up to 50lbs to chest level and places product into tanks.

  • Stages ingredients (liquids and solids) and measures exact quantities by using industrial scales with forklift assistance. Pre-weigh and ensure recipe is followed.

  • Safely operate sit-down electric forklift (training and certification is provided).

  • Operates mixing equipment, including industrial pressure vessels used to cook and process food ingredients using specific times, temperatures and detailed recipe secrets.

  • Ensure cleanliness and quality of product and manufacturing processes

  • Breaks down, clean up and sanitizes production equipment.

  • Located in the Lakewood Industrial Park.

  • Must be willing and able to work overtime (5-15 hours per week, if needed)

Overnight Manufacturing Laborer Operator:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.

  • Prior manufacturing, processing or other food production experience is highly desirable but is not required in lieu of other type of manufacturing or warehousing experience.

  • Prior forklift experience is a plus but not required

  • Must have the ability to read and follow written instructions.

  • Physical requirements: Must be able to lift 50lbs and stand for long periods of time. Must be able to lift using both arms and walk using both legs while carrying 5 gallon buckets of material weighing approximately 50lbs
