* Must reside in the state of CO on start date. Relocation assistance is not provided. This is a hybrid position requiring 2 days a week in office and remaining remote work must be from CO*

Salary Range

$150,000 - $175,000

A Brief Overview

The Sr Analyst, Enterprise Data Architect provides expertise and leadership in the definition, design, implementation, adoption and adherence to enterprise architecture strategies, processes and standards. Your primary role will be to design and deliver strategic direction for the organization's data architecture and to establish standards for ensuring data is organized, accessible, secure, and aligned with business and technical objectives. Responsibilities also include technology assistance and direction to other teams, ensuring that all technologies work effectively together. You will also collaborate with other Enterprise Architects to deliver a complete end-to-end architecture across all architecture domains.

What you will do

  • Demonstrated application of end-to-end architecture strategies, standards, processes, and tools in their solution designs

  • Design of high quality architectures that meet business requirements and are consistent with enterprise architectural standards

  • Assist other Enterprise Architects in supporting the development and update of enterprise architectural strategies, standards, processes, and tools

  • Assist in evaluation and selection of significant new technologies, tools or development approaches

  • Provide input and guidance to others as a technical solution for medium- to large-sized projects is designed

  • Work with Senior resources from other teams to:

  • Identify an optimal platform/environment for the solution

  • Identify an optimal design and implementation of the solution while keeping Service Level Agreements in mind

  • Identify opportunities for asset reuse, architectural simplification and consistency

  • Collaborate with other Enterprise Architects on applications development, data, and cloud strategies

  • Attend technical conferences to maintain knowledge or industry best practices

  • Lead the acquisition process, preparation of procurement documents, and verification that products and services received comply with contract terms

  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned

  • Understand and comply with all provisions of the Safety in the Workplace policy

  • Work with the Business to understand and identify the business problem or need

  • Provides guidance to the Technology Roadmaps for the applicable skillsets/disciplines

Minimum Requirements

  • Typically requires a bachelor's degree in related field and a minimum of 5 years of related experience.

  • A combination of post-high school education, job related certification and related experience equivalent to 7 years may be considered in lieu of minimum requirements.

Preferred Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, other technical field, or business preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Sufficient technical knowledge and judgment to be able to identify when other Application Developer(s), IT Architect(s), or Infrastructure team(s) need to be pulled in or coordinated with

  • Working knowledge of current IT and systems technologies and standards

  • Familiar with all major applications and platforms at FirstBank; strong understanding of multiple platforms, applications and interfaces between applications

  • Strong understanding of FirstBank’s information architecture

  • Strong process design/re-design skills to participate in business requirements analysis

  • Ability to manage multiple, complex tasks concurrently

  • Excellent technical and operational problem solving skills

  • Strong working knowledge of modern software development languages

  • Working knowledge of information security concepts and techniques

  • Demonstrated ability to interface and collaborate with peers, developers and technical management to develop solutions that will meet the needs for those interested in the outcome

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Good listening skills

  • Ability to lead technical groups

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

  • Frequently remains stationary throughout a typical business day

  • Frequently operates a computer and other office machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer

  • Occasionally moves about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, and other rooms

  • Occasionally positions self to access drawers and shelves of various heights

  • Frequently reaches for and handles paperwork and files

  • Constantly communicates with customers, coworkers, and management in-person and on the phone

  • Must be able to exchange accurate information

  • FirstBank does not currently offer fully remote positions, except as required by law. The actual number of in-office days that may be required will vary by business unit, role, and business need
