Overview

The TRC is seeking a talented and motivated mid-level Engineer, Geologist, or Engineering Project Manager for full time employment in the Fort Collins or Lakewood, Colorado offices. Responsibilities

Lead and perform remediation system design work, including remediation investigation and implementation work plans. Environmental site assessment and remediation, including Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs), and the field assessment of groundwater, soil, soil gas, and air. Stormwater compliance, including inspection of and reporting on construction, industrial, and municipal sites. Data interpretation and presentation including tables and figures to illustrate collected data. Preparation of permits. Construction management, including scheduling and oversight of utility locating, geophysical survey, excavation, driller, remediation subcontractors, and other construction subcontractors. Develop and track multiple project budgets, scopes and schedules for regulatory submittals and other consulting documents. Write and review technical documents, reports and engineering designs, ensuring quality and consistent delivery of materials. Work to cross-sell TRC services and increase business. Identify and develop new business opportunities, and deliver responsive, high-quality services. Qualifications

Requirements: Work well with dynamic project teams. Bachelor's degree or higher in civil, environmental engineering, geology or other related discipline. Eight (8) to twelve (12) years of experience with environmental engineering, investigation or remediation consulting. Excellent verbal communication skills to allow for interaction with clients, vendors, and subcontractors. Strong technical writing skills and ability to prepare technical reports. Must possess high safety awareness and be willing to adhere to all aspects of TRC's rigorous behavior-based health and safety programs. Registered Engineer in Training (EIT), Professional Engineer (PE), Professional Geologist (PG) is desirable. 40-hour HAZWOPER training, including current refresher training is desirable. Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test and a company physical exam (indicating that there will be no restrictions for field activities or use of a half-face respirator). This position will require field work and travel, as well as early start times and occasional night or weekend work. Compensation: In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors. Other Compensation: Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company's annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.
