Description ECC is seeking an Environmental Engineer intern for summer 2025 for our Environmental Group in our Lakewood, CO office. Travel to onsite work may include, but not be limited to, locations in Fort Carson, Colorado, and/or Mead, Nebraska. ECC will cover travel expenses.This position will support document production and support sampling program at Mead and Fort Carson. Work will typically include assisting with sampling events (groundwater, soils, etc.), assisting with groundwater elevation gauging events, assisting with landfill cap inspections and maintenance, and assisting with tasks at groundwater treatment plants and other duties as assigned. This position will follow a hybrid work model: some time will be spent in the office, and other times, onsite sampling will be needed. Requirements Ability to communicate in written and verbal formats Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Must be able to travel Education- This position requires a high school diploma and must be currently enrolled as a second, third, or fourth year student in an accredited university working towards a Bachelor's degree in aEnvironmental Engineering degree. Preferred Qualifications OSHA 40preferred, but can be provided

The rate will be $18-20/hr and approximately 40 hours/wk. Travel (flight, lodging, transportation, meal) expenses will be provided while working on project sites, if meeting the distance requirements for benefits. No other benefits provided.
