Description:Martin/Martin, Inc., a civil and structural engineering firm, is currently seeking an Administrative Assistant I. The ideal candidate must be able to excel in a fast-paced environment. The ability to provide exceptional customer service to employees and clients, multi-task, and attention to detail is required. The position must be able to work each day as a team player with other administrative assistants and engineering staff. The ability to work overtime, as needed, and dress professionally is required for this position. Provide administrative support to the engineering departments. Exceptional customer service is required.

EXAMPLES OF RESPONSIBILITIES * Greet clients, business partners, and job candidates * Direct calls on a multi-line switchboard * Assist in meeting/event set-up including scheduling, room set up, virtual/webinar meetings, and clean up after meetings/events * Order food for meetings and office events * Register employees for classes/seminars and track attendance * Complete purchases on behalf of the company * Word processing duties including proposals, letters, project set up, comment and responses, specifications, and meeting notes * Assist with travel arrangements * Printing, scanning, copying, and binding * Coordinate mail/FedEx/couriers * Assist in archiving * Order office supplies, food, and drink items * Restock supplies for print room, coffee stations, conference rooms, and cafeteria * Other duties as assigned
WORKING CONDITIONS/SKILLS/ABILITIES This position is primarily administrative in nature, working mostly inside of the office completing a wide range of activities. The following abilities are required: * Completing repetitive movement on tasks such as using a mouse or keyboard * Ability to remain stationary for long periods of time * Read, communicate, and document in English * Identify color * Determine and exchange accurate information * Occasionally move about outside of the office * Occasionally move or hold objects weighing up to 25 pounds Requirements: REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS * High School Diploma or equivalent * Ability to receive notary certification within the first three months of employment * Excellent customer service skills * Collaborates effectively with others * Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, Outlook * Able to prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment * Detail-oriented
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS * Secondary education (associate or bachelor's degree) * 2-3 years' experience in related field
