Job Title: SCADA Engineer

Job Description

Seeking a SCADA Engineer who specializes in the design and construction of power systems for renewable energy and battery storage projects. Responsibilities include preparing and maintaining diagrams, programming and commissioning SEL Real-Time Automation Controllers (RTACs), building RTAC HMIs, editing IED communication settings, managing procurement and logistics, configuring networking equipment, maintaining documentation, and supervising field installations. The role also involves creating bids and proposals, assisting with HMI and historian construction, managing SCADA projects, and handling project schedules using ClickUp. The position requires 25% travel for job site work across the United States.

Hard Skills

  • Programming and commissioning SEL RTACs

  • Building RTAC HMIs using SEL Diagram Builder

Work Environment

This position reports to a substation consulting firm in Minnesota. In-office work is preferred, but hybrid and remote arrangements may be considered. The role involves collaboration with an experienced engineer and the SCADA engineering manager.
