Essential Job FunctionsImplements site strategies, systems and controls to support company and objectives in the areas of Quality Assurance/ComplianceSupports implementation of company-wide Quality programsPrepares site key Quality performance metrics reports and provides support to ensure scorecard objectives are metImplements and maintains site Quality program, utilizing assessment, training and monitoring techniques to ensure compliance with federal, state and local laws and regulations, and independent agency standardsCoordinates and conducts product testing to meet required customer, company or industry specificationsAdministers quality incident resolution process including completion of root cause analyses, calculation of total cost of quality, implementation of corrective actions, and communication to key stakeholdersAddresses Quality concerns and operational improvement opportunities working with key stakeholders, including with customers directly, and implementing corrective actionsCoordinates the external/internal audit processes and supports site Quality representative responsible for executing any needed corrective action to address audit deficienciesMaintains industry, professional and technical knowledge by networking, attending industry events, and reviewing professional publicationsOther duties as assignedEducation & ExperienceAssociate's degree required, bachelor's degree desiredMinimum of 4 years of relevant experience requiredKnowledge, Skills & AbilitiesKnowledge of and ability to use and influence organization's policies, standards and procedures guiding manufacturing processesKnowledge of methods, accepted practices, considerations and regulatory requirements associated with safety and protection of workers, environment and siteKnowledge of the existing and planned approaches and methods for manufacturing products or product componentsKnowledge of the day-to-day operations of a manufacturing plant or facilityKnowledge of and experience with effectively managing changes to the production environment and processKnowledge of and ability to identify a problem and use a disciplined approach to bringing that problem to a successful resolutionKnowledge in Microsoft Office, SAP, SharePoint, etc. preferredKnowledge in Lean Manufacturing and problem-solving skills preferredT he expected salary range for this position is $82,000 - $102,000 annually.
