Division Description:
ITW Electronics Assembly Equipment (EAE) Division is made up of four brands strongly recognized by Contract Manufacturers and OEMs in the Electronics and Industrial Markets. The Division designs, develops, manufactures, and markets capital equipment primarily used in the assembly process of Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) and other industrial applications. Position Summary
As the Market Segment Director, you will be responsible for the end-to-end product lifecycle, including strategic planning, development, and launch. You will lead a high-performing team of product managers, collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, marketing, design, and sales, and be a key driver of our product vision and segment growth strategy. This role will be responsible for developing a comprehensive product portfolio strategy and driving initiatives to enhance market position and organic growth in the business. This is a leadership role that requires both strategic thinking and a deep understanding of market trends, customer needs, and technical capabilities.
Responsibilities
Define and execute the product strategy, ensuring alignment with overall business goals and customer needs.
Gather in-depth customer and market knowledge with the goal of converting market insights into key growth opportunities aligned with the overall business strategy.
Drive domestic and international marketing strategies and tactics to support current and new markets while managing product pricing and positioning.
Collaborate with senior leadership to prioritize and refine product roadmaps based on market research, competitive landscape, and business requirements.
Lead product innovation, identifying new market opportunities and leveraging industry trends to shape product development.
Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation through launch and ongoing iteration.
Partner with engineering and design teams to ensure timely and successful product delivery.
Work closely with sales, marketing, and customer success teams to ensure go-to-market strategies are well-defined and executed.
Engage with key stakeholders to ensure clear communication regarding product development progress, challenges, and successes.
Drive value proposition creation to address customer needs and pain points. Advocate for customer needs and ensure alignment across teams to meet market demands.
Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for product success and growth.
Use data and analytics to make informed decisions and measure the impact of product initiatives.
Drive continuous improvement in product processes, identifying opportunities for optimization and streamlining.
Build, mentor, and lead a team of product managers, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Foster a strong team culture that encourages cross-functional collaboration with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams.
Education, Experience & Skills Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, marketing or a technical discipline
Minimum 7-10 years of related experience
Ability to contribute at a strategic level to define growth strategy and rationalize product portfolio
Knowledge of marketing and the product development process and tools
Excellent leadership, interpersonal communication and presentation skills with the ability to present at all levels of the organization.
Highly motivated and results oriented with the ability to work independently and in a team environment with ability to easily adapt to change, consistently meet deadlines and excellent follow through.
International experience with cross-cultural awareness highly desired.
Ability to travel up to 20% of the time domestically and internationally

Compensation Information:
The pay for this position ranges from $140,000-$190,000 based on education and experience.
