The Isom Insurance Group in Lakeland, Florida, is looking for an enthusiastic, customer-driven, and knowledgeable person to join our team as a Full-Time Licensed Insurance Customer Service Representative. In this role you will provide customer service to our clients, addressing all of their insurance-related questions, concerns, and requests. We pride ourselves on our top-notch customer service and are looking for someone who has the skills to deliver an amazing experience while ensuring their clients have the coverage they need.

Responsibilities: Process customer policy change requests.

Secure all Trailing Documents from customers.

Handle all incoming claim calls from customers and follow-up.

Complete Evidence of Insurance requests.

Develop new Financial Services opportunities.

Document each customer contact in the CRM system.

Immediately greet all customers, entering the office, in a friendly and helpful manner.

Take premium payments from customers.

Ask each customer for referrals and explain our referral program.

Treat each customer contact as a cross and up-sell opportunity including financial products.

Verify phone numbers, addresses, and email addresses with each customer contact and update customer information.

Return all phone messages promptly.

Understand and follow all underwriting, rating, and compliance requirements.

Maintain knowledge of new products and services.

Generating insurance quotes.

Provide customer service and support.

Be outstanding at relationship building.

Develop and maintain client relationships.

Schedule appointments for sales staff to meet prospective customers.

Requirements: A minimum of 1 year of customer service experience, preferably insurance agency customer service experience.

Must have or willingness to obtain a 4-40, 2-20, or 20-44 insurance license.

Be a self-starter with a sense of urgency.

Create relationships from a cold start.

Proficiency in multitasking, follow-through, and follow-up.

Communication/interpersonal skills.
