GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF CLASS

Responsible for the dispersion and maintenance of the cart fleet for Cleveland Heights Golf Club.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Provides carts for golfers.

  • Maintains and repairs damages on the carts.

  • Keeps work area clean.

  • Wash cars daily and charge carts.

  • May be required to work overtime, or alternate hours, as necessary for the efficient operation of the department.

  • Position designated as Mission Critical by Department Director.

ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Performs related work as required.

QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE)

  • Must have completed up to the eight (8) grade.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • May be required to work overtime, or alternate hours, as necessary for the efficient operation of the department.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES

  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and employees.

  • Ability to understand and carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

  • Ability to stand for long periods.

  • Ability to stand, stoop, kneel, or crouch.

  • Ability to operate a cart.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Light work that involves walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or standing most of the time and involves lifting or moving objects between 10 - 25 pounds regularly.

  • The job requires normal visual acuity, field of vision, hearing, speaking, color perception, sense of taste, sense of smell, depth perception, and texture perception.
