Job Description

Guides the implementation of financial analyses and reporting on benefit plan performance, practices and trends. Conducts impact analysis and manages project implementations as assigned.

Job Responsibility

  • Reviews and analyzes complex data on benefit plan utilization, costs and trends and makes recommendations for enhancements, cost savings, or potential changes; identifies inconsistencies and resolves discrepancies through research and reconciliation.

  • Guides the development of metrics to conduct impact analysis of program proposals and calculations related to business proposals.

  • Maintains benefits financial reporting, develops and maintains plan effectiveness reporting and makes recommendations for improvement.

  • In collaboration with Clinical service line and CIIPA management, reviews, analyzes and provides proposals to close gaps in available services.

  • Manages assigned implementation and conversion projects; develops project plans, coordinates required resources and manages to budgets and timelines.

  • Participates in vendor management, keeping projects on track.

  • Reviews operations and processes and makes recommendations for administrative controls and improved efficiencies.

  • Reviews plan documents and contracts for accuracy and clarification, as assigned.

  • Guides other benefits staff with analyses and guidance as needed; keeps abreast of updated or new benefit-related laws, regulations, guidelines and policies.

  • Operates under limited guidance and work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

Job Qualification

  • Bachelor's Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience, required.

  • Strong Analytical and presentation skills, preferred.

  • Prior Project Management experience, preferred.

The salary range for this position is $66,220-$108,180/year
