Salary $22.30 - $30.82 per hr

Job Description

• Assists in planning, organizing, and evaluating resources and quality management services related to Quality Assurance Programs including Process Improvement.
• Responsible for assisting in the monitoring of hospital services to improve the quality or patient care and ensure that services are provided in a safe and efficient manner.
• Assists with process improvement activities that provide more efficient and streamlined workflow.

Qualifications and Skills

• At least two years of experience in a healthcare delivery organization such as a managed care organization or a hospital environment.
• Working knowledge of medical care systems, medical terminology, disease processes and medical coding entities.
• Ongoing coursework in performance improvement and CQI methodology.
• Previous experience in quality improvement or related experience preferred.
