PT DIETARY TECHNICIAN

*$18.00 - $25.92 per hour *

Roles and Responsibilities

Duties can include but not limited to: organizing tray cards, working on the assembly of tray line meals, communicating diet food concerns to the dietitian, preparing cold food items, working in the caf, stocking food and non-food items, cleaning duties within the kitchen, clean and sanitize all dishes etc., operating kitchen equipment, and checking dietary service requests.

Performs a variety of patient food services and dish duties, as well as other related duties.

Qualifications and Skills

• Hospital or food service experience preferred.
• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• Must be able to effectively communicate in English, both verbal and written.

• Frequently fast paced environment requires ability to handle stress and always interface professionally, tactfully and respectfully with staff, patients and general public.
