Water Distribution Lead Functions\ Performs difficult technical work serving as lead in the operation, maintenance, and repair of the\ Citys Water Distribution System; responsible for ordering of parts, working with outside vendors,\ and responding to customer inquiry and complaints; per forms preventative maintenance and repairs,\ participates in the procurement of supplies, monitors expenditures, maintains records, prepares\ reports, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the limited supervision\ of the Field Supervisor. Provides work direction and general guidance to assigned staff within the\ division.\ \ MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:\ High School diploma or GED and considerable experience in water or wastewater systems and\ maintenance, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
