Creates "what if" models to present business partners with options for execution. Partners with business and technical stakeholders to orchestrates plan for execution. Partners with Senior Leaders to develop business cases and ensure alignment on strategy and vision, manage risks and dependencies across programs or value streams and provide communication and visibility to key stakeholders. Responsible for all aspects of intake, slotting, estimation, capacity planning, prioritization work within Trustmark’s IT organization.

Position Overview

Responsible for leading, managing, planning, orchestrating annual planning & multi year road mapping for IT organization, including Business Unit (BU) projects, IT driven effort & any strategic work. Leverages tools and process to organize work in logical execution model to optimize on time, resources and funding available. Creates "what if" models to present business partners with options for execution. Partners with business and technical stakeholders to orchestrates plan for execution. Partners with Senior Leaders to develop business cases and ensure alignment on strategy and vision, manage risks and dependencies across programs or value streams and provide communication and visibility to key stakeholders. Responsible for all aspects of intake, slotting, estimation, capacity planning, prioritization work within Trustmark’s IT organization.

Responsibilities :

Manages the enterprise portfolio across multiple business units inclusive of all BU and IT driven work efforts. Leads with data and analytics to help business and IT make prioritization decisions. Serves as intake/estimation/slotting funnel for IT resources.

Leads and takes creative approaches to negotiations of staffing/slotting across cross-functional teams. Focuses on capacity vs demand matrices and controls resource allocation limitations. Responsible to manage and control change in plans (unplanned work intake, slotting, PCR's) and communicate overall impact to the Portfolio.

Accountable for ensuring the scope of all initiatives align with business priorities. Reviews program budget variance and scope change requests and leads the budget process. Leads Prioritization and gains financial approvals for planned work, manages to budget. Manages IT project finances and reports out on overall portfolio finances/statistics.

Provides execution recommendations to IT PMO. Partners closely with IT Project Manager & Business Project Managers to set projects up for success.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree and/or 6 – 8 years of related experience OR High School Diploma or GED with 8-10 years of related experience.

Preferred:

Size of the portfolio managed – minimum $50mm

Experience managing multiple teams (vendors, on-shore/off-shore)

Experience with Microsoft Project, OnePlan, Azure DevOps (execution)

Experience in numerous methodologies (Agile, waterfall, Kanban etc.)
