Position: PM Product Manager II

Employment type: Full-time regular

Location: Lake Forest, CA – Hybrid

Job Responsibilities:

Product Strategy and Roadmap:

  • Develop a clear product vision and strategy for HMI and SCADA solutions.

  • Create and maintain a product roadmap that aligns with business goals and market trends.

  • Identify opportunities for product enhancements and new features.

Market Research and Analysis:

  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs, competitive landscape, and industry trends.

  • Analyze market data to identify gaps and opportunities for product differentiation.

  • Stay informed about technological advancements in HMI and SCADA systems.

Requirements Gathering:

  • Collaborate with customers, systems integrators, and internal stakeholders to gather product requirements.

  • Translate technical specifications into user-friendly features and functionalities.

  • Prioritize features based on business impact and customer value.

Product Development:

  • Work closely with engineering teams to define product specifications and ensure timely development.

  • Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and user story refinement.

  • Conduct usability testing and gather feedback during product development.

Go-to-Market Strategy:

  • Define pricing strategies, positioning, and messaging for HMI and SCADA products.

  • Coordinate product launches, including documentation, training, and marketing collateral.

  • Collaborate with sales teams to enable successful product adoption.

Product Performance Monitoring:

  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to product adoption, revenue, and customer satisfaction.

  • Address any issues or challenges related to product performance promptly.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • Prior experience as a systems integrator or controls engineer working with HMI and SCADA systems.

  • Strong technical understanding of HMI, SCADA, Historian, industrial automation, and cloud computing.

  • Analytical skills: Ability to analyse market data, customer feedback, and technical requirements.

  • Communication skills: Excellent verbal and written communication to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

  • Project management: Experience managing product development lifecycles.

  • Customer-centric mindset: Understand customer pain points and translate them into product features.

  • Adaptability: Willingness to learn and adapt to changing technologies and industry trends.

Salary Range:

$116,000.00 - $193,400.00

This pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation that the position offers, and final compensation can vary within the range depending on work location, job experience, skills, and relevant educational attainment and/or training.
