Job Title: Welder/Fabricator

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for welding, grinding welds, and fabricating truck bodies. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a large operation with opportunities for advancement and internal movement.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding tasks, including MIG welding.

• Grind welds to ensure smooth finishes.

• Fabricate truck bodies according to specifications.

• Read and interpret blueprints for welding and fabrication tasks.

• Utilize overhead lifting devices safely and efficiently.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in MIG welding.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

• Experience with welding and fabrication techniques.

• Skilled in grinding and smoothing welds.

• Proficient in reading a tape measure.

• Comfortable using overhead lifting devices.

• Ability to perform basic math functions.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in a large-scale operation is a plus.

• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.

• Strong attention to detail and safety.

Work Environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $29.00
