Job Title: Project Manager

Location:  Lake County, Illinois

Compensation: $64.00 per hour, Paid Time off, Company 401k contributions, Health, dental, and vision insurance.  Total Annual Compensation including benefits is $ 160,000 annually.

    We are hiring a Project Manager Freight Audit Payment in the Global Distribution & Logistics Center Of Excellence organization to join an exciting project for a 1-year Fixed-Term Contract. This person will have the opportunity to have a significant impact on successful launches of our client’s Global FAP improvement project initiatives, including the client’s external FAP platform Upgrade, working closely with the Business Technology Solution, SAP, Financial Share Service, Internal and External Logistics Business Stakeholders and Partners, and the client’s 3rd party FAP partner. This person will be located in Lake County, Illinois and hybrid work is permitted. The role reports to the FAP Program Technical Operation Manager.

    Project Manager Responsibilities

  • Understand and create a picture of the current FAP state, project scopes, requirements, and the key elements of the functional and stakeholder impact.

  • Develop a robust project planning, monitoring, and tracking process to meet the objectives and deliverables across various project management tools

  • Perform and support BTS and SOP documenting and the process change requirements on FAP projects to meet the client’s Corp. IT compliance and the project deadlines.

  • Drive the stakeholder communication for project status and follow-up to update project timeline, monitoring, and tracking progress.

  • Understand and capture various technical discussions of the key FAP elements and processes including, but not limited to EDI interface and mapping, External data connections, various SAP functions- PTP, RTR, Financial Accounting, Vendor Setup, Treasury, and Tax.

  • Provide regular project updates to the management team via Jira updates, Smartsheet and/or Teams updates, and meeting presentations as needed.

  • Work closely with finance and BTS teams to track project financials and update in applicable corporate systems.

    Project  Manager Qualifications

  • BS/BA degree in IT/Logistics/Finance/Engineering/Business Management, or other related field of study

  • 5+ years of experience in Logistics, Financial Controls, FAP, SAP, and Project Management. Experience in Change Management is a plus.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, effective facilitation, and collaboration with a cross-functional team

  • Project Management experience with Advanced Project Manager tool (SmartSheets, MS Project, Jira, etc) skills for effective communication, monitoring, and tracking.

  • In-depth knowledge of the process and documentation of EDI, SAP-PTP, RTR, and FAP processes.

  • Advanced MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) skills for analysis, reporting, and data management.

  • High competence, confidence, and credibility for interaction with senior management.

  • Demonstrate a high level of independence, anticipate program scope and deliverable changes, and effectively communicate issues with management.
