What You Will Do

The Location Planning Manager will drive location results to maximize profitability, efficiency, and guest satisfaction. This role provides input for store profiles and determines assortments to the location level. You will find opportunities to balance inventory between locations to optimize inventory. This role will provide input for pre & in-season to find opportunities to achieve profit center goals.

This role reports to the Sr. Manager, Location Planning

  • Determine and manage store profiles to achieve growth and profitability that align with product and store strategies

  • Provide input on range of products required to support locations, activations, and events

  • Determine stage plan requirements, in partnership with Visual for new and existing product, continually evaluate assortment and placement based on face out productivity

  • Build strong working relationships with Store Operations and Back of House Cast Members

  • Partner with Leaders on master plan work, providing recommendations to short & long-term store plans to secure capital funding

  • Support Leader to identify and prioritize projects through IFP (Integrated Facility Plans) & MGOI (Marketing Guest Operations Improvements) budgets

  • Analyze, prepare, and communicate business performance to drive results

  • Prepare reporting as needed to highlight successes and challenges to achieving financial objectives

  • Partner with peers to ensure the right inventory is in the right location at the right time to maximize sales and profitability

  • Partner with Assistant Location Planners to transfers and consolidations product, to maximize sales and margin performance across sites

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or equivalent major

  • Minimum of 2 years in category or location planning, store operations

  • Proficient in Microsoft tools & Business Objects

  • Strong financial and analytical skills.

  • Professional verbal and written communication skills, including comfort with executive-level presentations.

  • Detailed orientation with strong organizational skill.

  • Demonstrated positive attitude with ability to be responsive to feedback and pivot based on changing organizational priorities.

  • Flexible and adaptable with demonstrated ability to work under pressure while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Resourceful with ability to prioritize, problem solve and make decisions.

  • Strong ability to collaborate with peers and partners.

  • Operations (front & back of house), Category Planning, Industrial Engineering, Site Finance & Revenue Management, Warehouse

Preference

  • Excel experience with Pivot Table usage to create reports
