Position Summary:
The Diversified Assets Manager is responsible for managing and optimizing the banks portfolio of substandard commercial loans and participations. This role involves analyzing and assessing the performance of diverse asset classes, developing strategic initiatives to mitigate losses, enhance revenue, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. The Manager will work directly with members of Senior and Executive Management and requires considerable independent judgment and initiative.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
Negotiation:Negotiate restructuring and repayment plans with borrowers.
Communication:Providing regular updates to USDA, SBA, and the Board of Directors.
Policy Development:Develop and implement loan collection policies and procedures.
Monitoring:Continuously monitor the performance of the special assets portfolio.
Reporting:Prepare detailed reports on the status and performance of special assets.
Compliance:Ensure all activities comply with the bank's policies and relevant regulations.
Collaboration:Work closely with other departments, such as legal, credit, and guarantying entity to resolve issues related to special assets.
Perform all other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
Bachelors degree required in finance, accounting, economics, or related field
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in loan management, credit analysis as well as guaranteed lending workouts
