Job Title: Molding Process Tech
Shift: 2nd
Schedule: Mon-Thur 3pm-11:30pm
Location: Lafayette, TN
Duties:
-Sampling runs according to molding schedule
-Promote and maintain an atmosphere of cooperation among and between shifts, tool room, quality control, and management to facilitate production goals
-Assist with the set-up and maintenance of auxiliary equipment, including granulators, conveyors, liquid temperature controls, and mold electrical controls
-Train and assist machine operators
-Make minor repairs to machines and equipment and notify proper personnel of necessary major repairs
-Establish proper molding conditions
-Eliminate production of defective parts and products
-Performs other related duties as assigned
Knowledge:
-Ability to interpret and translate engineering designs and documentation
-Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn production equipment
-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Skills:
-Conduct tests and inspections of products
-Troubleshoots throughout the molding process to ensure maximum machine utilization
-Quality are achieved while providing feedback of root cause analysis
-Strong work ethic, self-motivation, and the ability to follow through on all tasks
-Work within a team environment and demonstrate professional behavior
-Reliable, responsible, and dependable, and fulfilling obligations
