People Experience Lead

Role Summary

The People Experience Lead is self-motivated, actively engaged with people and demonstrates care, respect and

passion for restaurant crew, managers and guests. This candidate provides

supervision, audit, innovation and oversight across all of the organization’s

restaurants. The PEL will be expected to partner and execute the work alongside

the General Managers, Director of Operations, Owner/Operators and extended

leadership teams. The individual executes at high-level to build high

performing team culture. The candidate should have strong communication skills,

and the ability to liaise with peers and leadership to carry out the full range

of duties and responsibilities. Principal accountabilities will vary dependent

on the needs of the restaurants and organization.

Work Environment

The working environment will consist of both office and restaurant settings. Hours of work would mainly be

daytime but (could include evenings and weekends) Travel between the territory

will be required.

People Strategy

• Contribute to the development and implementation of the organization or a restaurant specific

human resources strategy and related plan that supports the growth and

evolution of the business (Stay current on best practices and trends related to

human resources)

• Implement current best practices and trends into work assignments

• Consult with restaurant leadership in the area of change management to achieve your organization’s human resource strategies and goals

• Manages talent acquisition process, which may include recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified

job applicants, particularly for managerial, exempt, and professional roles; collaborates with restaurant management to understand skills and competencies required for openings

Training & Development

• Subject matter expert(SME)for organization’s training and development tools

• Organizational lead for the development of crew and managers

• Track the development and class attendance of all employees

• Supply resources to strengthen restaurant training for crew and managers

• Attend training workshops and classes as necessary to continue personal development

• Ensure learning and development programs and initiatives are utilized within their organizations Workforce Planning, Staffing, and Talent Management

• Partners with leadership team to understand and execute the organization's human resource and talent

strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.

• Conduct quarterly staffing analysis to ensure organization effectiveness through the use of PDW and/or similar resources

• Analyzes external trends in compensation and benefits and proposes competitive EVP programs to ensure the

organization attains and attracts top talent (Wages and EVP)

• Connect with local hiring agencies and host local hiring events to build strong relationships in the community

• Support restaurant management teams with staffing needs using McHire .

• Ensures organizations and restaurants are following People Brand Standards

• Proficient in conducting Listening Surveys and implementing actionable steps based on feedback.
