Cooks: Summary: Responsible for the food preparation process and the direction and supervision of night cooks and other subordinated personnel in the galley. Essential Job Functions and Accountabilities: 1. Plan and provide quality meals daily within customers requested budget 2. Ensure galley is clean and orderly (tables, floors, equipment, dishes, etc.) 3. Manage crew by ensuring all employees know their duties and responsibilities, work schedules and following of all policies and procedures 4. Maintain all paperwork, including but not limited to, meal rosters, all safety related paperwork, etc. 5. Conduct inventory and ordering within customer budget 6. Conduct site orientation with all crew members 7. Assist galley hands and night cooks as needed 8. Assist in unloading and storing of groceries 9. Safety a. Conduct daily safety meetings and review JSAs with crews b. Report all incidents, immediately, whether personal or job related to your immediate supervisor c. Employee will adhere to all company and customer safe work practices To reduce the risk of incidents: Plan properly, Communicate Effectively and Follow ProceduresCooks:

Galley Hands: Summary: Manages to maintain clean and sanitized living quarters without compromise to employee or customer safety and no harm to the environment while on Customers facility which could include; Boats, Offshore Platforms, etc. Essential Job Functions and Accountabilities: 1. Common Areas *Keep coffee stations clean and stocked in all areas *Keep all trash bins empty, clean and sanitized 2. Galley *Wash dishes, including pots and pans after each meal *Where applicable, keep salad bar clean and stocked for all meals 3. Bedroom and Recreation *Make beds daily *Wash linens weekly or before new crew members arrive 4. Washroom and Laundry *Clean all sinks, showers and toilets ensuring the use of proper disinfectant *Wash shower curtains regularly *Keep toiletries stocked; i.e. paper towels, toilet paper etc. 5. Safety *Ensure all equipment is clean and working properly *Sweep and mop all areas daily *Keep all vents free of dust *Sanitize handrails daily *Defrost and clean milk machine weekly or more frequently if needed *Clean microwave and refrigerator daily *Unload groceries *Change and wash towels daily *Clean and maintain lockers *Ensure laundry is done daily or as required *Ensure dryers are free of lent after each use *Maintain orderly and tidy folding area 6. Report all incidents, immediately, whether personal or job related to your immediate supervisor edures

  • State Identification, Driver's License or Passport
