Description A dynamic, expanding company has an immediate job opening for a results-driven and highly-skilled Accounting Manager. The Accounting Manager will lead daily operations, including preparing and/or reviewing appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger system, preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, assisting with regulatory reporting as applicable, and related duties. Based in Lafayette, Louisiana,this is a tremendous opportunity to work for a company that will appreciate your efforts and reward your results. How you will make an impact

Prepare various technical accounting analyses, policies and procedures

Drive and manage the full accounting team performance of the close process to meet tight deadlines

Assist in the preparation of GAAP financial statements, including document preparation, data analysis, integrity validation and reconciliation processes

Regular review and analysis of balance sheet and income statement accounts

Collaborate with FP& A and accounting management to deliver relevant and timely reporting of financial data analytics, including monthly flash report, key financial metrics and actual spend against budgets/outlook Requirements - Eager problem-solver who listens for customer cues and actively resolves problems with grace and integrity

• Recent relevant financial experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent degree and/or experience

• CPA or MBA preferred

• Working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is valuable

• Proven technical skills

• General ledger experience

• Experience with NetSuite

• Adeptness in Microsoft Excel

• Month end closings experience

• Strong familiarity with journal entries

• Solid understanding of account reconciliation

• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer service mindset
