JOB TITLE: Production Team Member DEPARTMENT: Production REPORTS TO: Shift Supervisor

**SUMMARY: Performs a variety of duties including but not limited to assembly type work, forklift operation and 5S activity.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform assembly work by following work standards / instructions
• Clean work area according to 5S standards
• Assist in providing a safe environment for all employees
• Follow all safety guidelines
• Forklift experience a plus
• Participate in team meetings and training
• All other related duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.

• Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
• Ability to read, comprehend, and speak English to effectively communicate with other team members, understand training material, and technical and safety documents
• Ability to write simple correspondence
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
• Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Ability to perform necessary physical labour for entire shift (8 hrs)
