Description
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring skilled Journeyman Electricians for projects located in and around the Lafayette, IN area. This is a first shift opportunity with a pay rate of up to $37/hour based on experience & skill level. Job Scope:
Work on circuits & large scale electrical equipment from 4160 volts down to 110 volts
Measure, cut, & install wiring & conduit systems
Install and program electrical equipment
troubleshoot or replace electrical components as needed
Perform preventative maintenance inspections & oiling electrical motors and components
Interpret PLC ladder logic programs
Install fixtures, wire, panels, and lights
Bend & run conduit
Requirements
6+ Years of Experience in the field
Must have Commercial Electrical Experience
Must have Experience working with Hand Tools, Power Tools, & Electronic Test Equipment
Forklift and/or Scissor Lift Certification
Knowledge of Technological Developments
Knowledge of NEC & Local Electrical Codes
Ability to lift heavy objects
Ability to read blueprints/schematics
Communication Skills
Strong Attention to Detail
