We are seeking a Systems Administrators to join our team at our program.   The Systems Administrator is a key member of our System Operations team. This position is responsible for applying excellent communication and technology skills to lead a team responsible for all systems and servers in the Merakey environment. The System administrator is responsible for maintaining a dynamic knowledge base of technical solutions to ensure that the organization's IT technical and clinical systems are as efficient and productive as possible.  Administrative:  *  Install and configure Virtual environments and data storage.  *  Proactively manage and maintain server networks.  *  Administer and support core Microsoft, Pure, Citrix and VMware technologies, including Microsoft Teams and One Drive.  *  Administers and supports a Nutanix hyperconverged infrastructure.  *  Manage and Maintain Active Directory on prem and in the cloud services.  *  Manage and maintain Server Inventory - Including configurations, server names, applications or service provided, IP addresses, owner, warranty/maintenance, and procurement and disposal of assets according to policy.  *  Administers and supports backup, recovery, Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery using technologies such as Veeam, Zerto, NetBackup , Carbonite and DoubleTake.  *  Develop and implement project plans, risk assessments and contingency plans.  *  Administers and supports ProofPoint  Email Security Essentials.  *  Administers and supports email security, DLP and encryption.  *  Secures network system by establishing and enforcing policies; defining and monitoring access.  *  Implementation and administration of security best practices.  *  Defines and documents best practices and support procedures.  *  Designs and implements monitoring, configuration management and reporting functions.  *  Assists with hardware and software vendor evaluation, recommendation and negotiations.  *  Determine short- and long-term needs for IT department and Merakey overall.  *  Maintains vendor contact/support database.   Client/Customer Support  *  Monitors ticketing system and follows up to ensure timely resolution of problems, incidents and outages.  *  Isolates problem trends and ensures that troubleshooting efforts are completed for recurring problems until permanent solutions are found.  *  Ensures that decisions made to improve the overall customer experience are continually carried out.  *  Interacts with customers and staff at the technical level, as required.   Staff Interaction:  *  Maintain a favorable working relationship with all other employees to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate which will be conducive to maximum employee morale, productivity, efficiency, and effectiveness   General:  *  Interfaces with users of technology, employing a high degree of tact and diplomacy to promote a positive image of the department.
