How You'll Create Possibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate equipment: Move trailers and position them in docks securely.

• Trailer management: Secure and maneuver loaded trailers within the shipping yard using a spotter truck.

• Inventory control: Use scanners to transfer units from storage to shipment.

• Railcar operations: Operate devices to load, open/close doors, and position railcars for completion.

• Prioritize tasks: Collaborate with operations leaders to meet critical deadlines.

• Damage-free loading: Load products for shipment, ensuring no damage to goods.

• Versatile skill set: Rotate among jobs within the department, understanding all warehouse processes.

• Maintain safety and cleanliness: Follow all safety protocols and keep a clean work environment.

• Communication: Respond to radio calls for moves, inspect equipment, and coordinate with truck drivers.

• Yard organization: Straighten trailers and correct their positions at the dock doors.

• Additional duties: Adapt to changing business needs as required.

Job Requirements:

• Experience: 1+ years’ operating a forklift and yard dog, especially in high-volume manufacturing.

• Attention to Detail: Work independently with precision.

• Safety Awareness: Comfortable working around moving machines like robots, forklifts, etc.

• Flexibility: Available for weekends or extended hours as needed.

• Equipment Operation: Proficient with forklifts, yard dogs, and Track-mobiles.

• Communication: Able to follow verbal and written instructions in English.

• Pre-Employment Checks: Hold a valid state driver's license and pass background, physicals, and drug screens.

• Physical Requirement

• Prolonged standing, frequent handling of parts, and regular walking.

• Ability to reach overhead, at shoulder, knee, and floor levels.

• Engage in bending, squatting, kneeling, ladder climbing, and use of vibratory tools.

• Lift/carry 42 lbs. and push/pull 25 lbs.

• Wear required PPE, including steel-toed shoes and safety glasses.
