Job Title: Quality Inspector

Job Description

• Verifies incoming documentation matches information on different components and materials

• Inspects components visually and using precision measuring devices

• Measures components using required measuring devices and tooling.

• Determines acceptance or rejection of components.

• Provides machine operators with information on material removal.

• Performs identification etchings on bearings using air pencil.

• Ensures that the inspection tools and equipment are in proper working order and the proper calibration affixed before use.

• Understands the current specifications involving inspection tolerances, limitations, and procedures established by the manufacturer of the articles being inspected

• Actively supports company’s 5S activities.
