The English Language Arts (ELA) Teacher provides instruction and guidance to help students broaden their vocabulary, learn definitions and proper usage of new words, and master punctuation. They are also responsible for instructing others about the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar. Assigns books and essays for students to read and teaches them how to identify themes, points of view, and other characteristics broaden their vocabulary, learn definitions and proper usage of new words, and master punctuation. Instructor will ignite a passion for literature, and promote strong voice and agency within students.
