Express Employment Property Manager in Lacey, Washington

Express is now hiring for a Property Manager for a non profit organization out of Lacey, WA. This is a Direct Hire opportunity. This position is full time and in office. Compensation for this position ranges from $51,219-$59,661.31k DOE. This company offers a great benefits package to include Medical, Dental, Vision benefits ( annual premium paid 100% by employer), 403(b) retirement plan with 3% employer match and vacation, sick and floating holiday time. 

 

Job Duties:

- - Serve as the main contact for tenants, addressing inquiries, complaints, and requests. - Manage tenant move-ins/outs, inspections, lease agreements, renewals, and terminations.

```{=html} ``` - Conduct property inspections and coordinate repairs/maintenance. - Oversee contractor/vendor relationships and ensure compliance with safety regulations. - Supervise maintenance technicians, Maintenance Coordinator, and Program Services Navigator. - Review housing management operations, including capital improvements, evictions, rent collections, and service provider relations. ```{=html} ``` - Collect rent and manage property budgets, including forecasting and financial reporting. - Develop marketing strategies, advertise vacancies, show properties, and negotiate lease terms. - Maintain property records, ensure compliance with policies/procedures, and stay informed on industry trends and regulations. - Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local regulations, including fair housing laws.

- Prepare required reports and participate in professional development activities

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in business administration, real estate, or a related field is preferred. 
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in property management or a related field and experience working with low-income or at-risk populations. 
  • Certified Property Manager or Real Estate License or Contractor License is a plus

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma and five or more years of work experience in property management or related field. 
  • At least 3-5 years of experience of residential maintenance and/or construction fields or real estate and a basic knowledge of local real estate laws and regulations

     

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Understand and commit to the Mission, Vision and Values of organization

  • Familiarity and comfort working with property management database systems, MS Office Suite and the Google Workspace environment
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering data, multitask and work well under pressure
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Possess cultural awareness and sensitivity to people from diverse backgrounds and abilities 
  • Provide proof of valid Washington Driver's license and state-required automobile insurance for work-related use.
