*Equipment Technician 3 | Non-Permanent Lacey, WA -- Olympic Region   $73,684 -- $85,377 Annually  * Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is currently seeking a non-permanent Equipment Technician 3 to work with the Olympic Region Transportation Equipment Fund (TEF) with the Lacey team in the New Equipment shop, responsible for outfitting and fabrication of new vehicles and equipment for Statewide use. The successful candidate will provide well maintained vehicles and equipment to customers who in turn may accomplish their services to the public in a safe, efficient, timely, and cost-effective manner. Under the supervision of the Equipment Technician Supervisor, this position is responsible for performing a full range of journey-level maintenance and repair activities, diagnostic procedures, and fabrication activities on all types of equipment utilized by the department to include heavy (greater than 26,000 GVW) and construction (on- and off-road) vehicles and equipment within the Olympic Region's area of responsibility.
