Description Clinical Student Intern - Paid CNA Training Program Job Description: Providence Mother Joseph Care Center is excited to offer a paid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Training Program to a small group of students, with work and classes beginning on April 30, 2024. This is a great opportunity to acquire clinical training and experience, jumpstarting your nursing career at no cost to you. Clinical Student Interns will spend their time: Assisting unit Nurses and Nursing Assistants in their patients' day-to-day customer service needs through frequent interaction, activities, and non-clinical personal care Participating in CNA Training courses and learning experiences guided by clinical caregivers After 6 weeks and upon program completion, Clinical Student Interns will be able to take a Washington state Nursing Assistant Certification test on-site at Providence Mother Joseph Care Center. Multiple testing opportunities are available each month to meet your scheduling needs. Once Clinical Student Interns are certified successfully, they're hired on as CNAs. Certification testing and fees will be covered by Providence. Once Clinical Student Interns become Certified Nursing Assistants, they are expected to work at Providence Mother Joseph Care Center for at least one year.
