Actalent Project Engineer in LaBelle, Florida

Job Description:

  • The Project Engineer is responsible for all routine on-site project administration, scheduling and engineering.

  • Plans, coordinates, and manages on-site construction engineering activities and schedules and communicates with subcontractors.

  • Prepares monthly pay estimates and updates the Project CPM schedule.

  • Prepares, coordinates and updates job budgets, change orders and cost reports for management review and approval.

Qualifications:

  • BS in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.

  • Must have prior experience in construction of Large infrastructure (hydropower & dam/levee projects is a plus).

  • Minimum 1 to 3 years of similar construction projects experience.

  • Familiar with grading, drainage, earthmoving, concrete, excavation, mechanical, tunnel and water reservoir.

  • Experience with softwares (AutoCAD/Plan Swift for quantity take off and HCSS Heavy Bid for Estimating) is a plus.

  • Propeller or Trimble Business Center knowledge is a plus.

  • Familiar with utilization of GPS based Survey equipment (like Rovers and Drones).

  • Strong working knowledge of Excel, Word and Powerpoint.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong prioritization and organizational skills; detail-oriented.
