Your main tasks and responsibilities:

• Supervises and directs Drafting and Reverse Engineering Technicians to ensure quality, efficiency and timely completion of assigned projects (including administrative tasks such as time-keeping, vacation requests and scheduling, discipline issues, etc.)

• Responsible for the continued development, upgrading of procedures and job work instructions applicable to machinery repairs in the interest of quality and efficiency.

• Assists the Estimating Department and/or the Sales department to ensure work instructions have the adequate verbiage and cost associated to them.

• Assists the CAD Manager to ensure that the department has adequate tools to safely, efficiently and accurately perform their duties.

• Responsible for the training of the drafting and reverse-engineering technicians.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• High school diploma or a technical degree

• A minimum of 5 years of drafting experience as applicable to the repair of turbomachinery.

• Working knowledge of AutoCAD/ CAD-based programs.

• Strong computer, written, and oral skills.
