Component Repairs Trainee

Your main tasks and responsibilities:

• This role provides hands-on training and development in our machine shop, weld shop, and mechanic shop

• Successfully complete weld testing in accordance with company standards.

• The employee will gain experience in various aspects of metal fabrication, machining, and mechanical assembly, contributing to the repair and maintenance of industrial rotating equipment.

• Actively participate in cross-training across the machine shop, weld shop, and mechanic shop to develop a well-rounded skill set.

• Assist in fabrication, welding, machining, and mechanical assembly tasks as assigned.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)

• Interest in learning a trade or developing skills in machining, welding, or as a mechanic.

• Willingness to follow instructions and work under supervision.

• Must be willing to work overtime and swing shifts as needed.

• Basic understanding of welding, machining, or mechanical work is a plus but not required.
